In the chemical and industrial complex Župa Kruševac, the production of xanthate began in the early 80s of the last century.

During the 1980s Župa Kruševac reached its zenith with an annual production of 20,000 tons of xanthate, of which 16,000 tons of potassium xanthates and 4000 tons of sodium xanthates. At that time Župa Kruševac produced xanthates for the German company Hoechst Ag under the brand of Hoechst. With the aforementioned production of 20,000 tons at annual level Župa Kruševac was the largest producer of xanthate in the world.

Unfortunately, during the 90s of the last century Župa Kruševac experienced a collapse characteristic of large companies in the former Yugoslavia. The political and economic crisis in Yugoslavia left unprecedented consequences for Župa Kruševac. In a country that during the 90s was affected by the civil war and sanctions the company Župa Kruševac failed to keep up with the market demands.

At the end of 2015, Bin commerce renewed its production with significant financial resources. At the same time, deals with domestic and foreign customers were contracted, and Župa Kruševac slowly returned the lost market. Now Župa Kruševac capacity of 20,000 tons are easily being filled.
