Flotation reagents

Flotation reagents

Flotation reagents are organic or inorganic compounds used for changing surface free energy between two phases in flotation pulp, which allows flotation process.

Bin commerce has been producing, importing and distributing flotation reagents for fifteen years now. During this period Bin commerce has gained exceptional technical, technological and commercial know-how, which is why Bin commerce is now one of the leading suppliers of mines of non-ferrous metals on the former Yugoslavia market.

When selecting producers, Bin commerce puts its main focus on the quality. We have been cooperating with certified and proven producers worldwide. Our partners have all the required standards and certificates and what is the most important, decades of experience in the production of flotation reagents. Our partners’ references are mines of non-ferrous metals located in all parts of the world.

Xanthates

Xanthates are flotation reagents adsorbed on surfaces of minerals, making them hydrophobic. They are organic compounds used in the flotation of sulphide ores of copper, lead, zinc, gold and silver.

Chemical Industry Zupa Kruševac is the only producer of xanthates in Europe. Zupa Kruševac has been producing xanthates since 1975. The following xanthates are being produced in our factory:

  1. Potassium amyl xanthate
  2. Potassium ethyl xanthate
  3. Potassium butyl xanthate
  4. Potassium isobutyl xanthate
  5. Sodium isopropyl xanthate
  6. Sodium isobutyl xanthate

In production of xanthates we use the best quality raw materials from all around the Europe certificated by the most eminent laboratories and that is why our xanthates satisfy high quality standards of non-ferrous mines. The primary goal of our xanthate production process are high standard products while obtaining high level of safety and health at work.
